SARVANAN PARASURAMAN

They work toward their living with an ongoing attempt to live better than the previous day. They look into the mirror with the belief that they will see a version of themselves improved from yesterday’s expression. They support causes with the hope that, this time, the promises will be fulfilled. And through these actions, they recognize that we all draw from universal, ever-present concepts, beliefs, and ideologies—continuously embracing them with new improvisations that suit our needs or aspirations. What persists is essentially an extension of what came before. “Modified Continuity” is a series of artworks that emerges from their attempts to continually refine and elevate their stance on the things they once believed, practiced, achieved, or experienced.
